Salvation’s choice…

How else could this dead man live?

Salvation is from our side a choice, from the divine side it is a seizing upon, an apprehending, a conquest by the Most High God. Our “accepting” and “willing” are reactions rather than actions. The right of determination must always remain with God.  (A W Tozer)

With shouts of joy I now sing of this Great Salvation; yet I was bought and brought here…drawn to Jesus Christ, dragging my heels — such was my complete spiritual death and depravity.

What love is this?  a Love that takes a heart of stone and gives a heart of flesh…a Love that opens blind eyes to see and deaf ears to hear…a Love that fills a hunger and quenches a thirst and in the filling and satisfying leaves me wanting Jesus Christ all the more.

Glory Glory Glory!  Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
