Gospel Faith Glory

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,  are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.  2 Cor 3:18

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  It is how I was saved and it is the only way I am being saved.  Jesus doesn’t let us miss this… but too often it seems we do, don’t we?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, prays (in John 17), Father, it’s time… the hour has come; “glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.”

John 1:14-18   And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.  (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”)  And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.  For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  No one has ever seen God; the only God,  who is at the Father’s side,  he has made him known.

grace and peace.

  1. I tell you what, those words are so true. Christ and His glory are really True North. When my focus remains on Him, my life is changed!
