Today…

Today will be a day that feels much like yesterday and will probably feel repeated tomorrow.  But today… this morning… God tells me I can and do enjoy His mercies.  Today, I have life and breath and so I too have mission.  Today I will have many many interactions with people, situations and thoughts.  Today, I choose to bring all things to Jesus Christ, my Great High Priest; He will show me how to enjoy all things because from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Today, I send a letter to a friend who God used to show me Himself in various ways, so today I rejoice and pray for him and his family.

Today, I pray for Gao Zhisheng and his family.  Gao has been taken by force by the gov’t of China and has been missing now for 365 days.  Today I hurt and pray for Gao and his family.

Today, I go to work.  I have a job.  Praise God.  I pray for those who do not have a job.

Today, I enjoy countless blessings.  Praise God.  I rejoice with gratitude in God’s goodness.

Today, I remember that Jesus Christ died to bring me to God, in full forgiveness and in His righteousness.  PRAISE GOD!

Today, I walk with Jesus Christ because He, indeed, is living in me!  Praise God.

Galatians 2:20  “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
